Geraldine "Gerri" Schnepf Sams

Geraldine Gerri Sams, 58, died on Sunday, April 10, 2005, after a battle with ovarian cancer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Melbourne, FL. She graduated from Melbourne High School and the University of Florida. Gerri worked as a teacher in North Carolina and Florida, most recently at Colonial High School, Orlando. She was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society of Orlando. She is survived by her daughter, Kelley Sams of Rwanda, Africa; mother, Helen Schnepf of Mountain Top, PA; father, Robert Schnepf of Melbourne Beach FL; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Jeff Holbrook of Mountain Top, PA; sister, Pat Gottlieb of Raleigh, NC; brother, Peter Schnepf of New York City; nieces and nephew, Kristin, Lauren and Bradley Holbrook of Mountain Top, PA; and many cousins, all who loved her. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 526 N. Park Avenue, Winter Park, on Friday, April 15, 2005, at 12 Noon. Interment will be held Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 3 p.m., in the Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1601 W.
